Consumers (EU)

Our cooperation is governed by my Terms of Service, which are always attached to the price quote. If you have any complaints about my services, please reach out at barbora@ruzickova.net — I always try to find a solution we’re both happy with.

Additional protections for consumers

If you qualify as a “consumer” under Czech law (i.e. you are a natural person acting outside of a business capacity, without a business ID/IČO), you are entitled to additional legal protections.

I operate under a trade licence, which means the relevant trade licensing office is the supervisory authority for my business. Consumer protection compliance is overseen by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, and personal data protection is overseen by the Office for Personal Data Protection. You may direct complaints to any of these bodies.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

If a consumer dispute arises between us and we can’t resolve it together, you have the right to seek out-of-court resolution. Under Act No. 634/1992 Coll. on Consumer Protection, the responsible body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority — full details are available at adr.coi.cz.

You can also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, or contact the European Consumer Centre Czech Republic (evropskyspotrebitel.cz), which serves as the contact point under EU Regulation No. 524/2013.

I handle all consumer complaints via email and will let you know the outcome at your email address.
